Contact UsOur staff are trained to deal with all types of medical emergencies and are highly qualified to look after the needs of all our residents. If a particular complication means a different type of care, for example Dementia rather than residential, should be required, we will discuss this with you and your family and make every effort to make the transition as
smooth as possible. As many of our homes provide residential and dementia, this may not mean leaving your current home.
Every incoming resident is assessed prior to admission to ensure they receive the care best suited for their needs. Your family or friends may be involved in this process if they so choose. An individual care plan is then created which sets out how staff will meet your needs. Care plans are reviewed monthly and will be updated when requirements change.
Visiting a Global Care home is a great way of selecting the right one for you or your loved one. Simply call the number provided on the webpage of the individual home and explain that you’d like to arrange a visit. The staff will then make all of the appropriate arrangements.
We believe in promoting an active and engaging lifestyle for our residents. Our care homes offer a wide range of recreational activities and social opportunities to enhance the well-being and quality of life of our residents. These may include group outings, arts and crafts, fitness
programs, musical performances, and more.
Yes, all care homes must comply with the law and with the registering Authority’s own guidelines in order to guarantee a high standard of care. Every home also undergoes regular inspections by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), after which a report is sent to the home
with any recommendations and actions required. We will be happy to provide copies of individual reports; alternatively they can be downloaded from www.cqc.org.uk.
Most of the homes operate an open-house visiting policy, but we do ask visitors to kindly avoid mealtimes. Please contact your specific care home for further details.
Deciding to move into a care home or realising that your loved ones can no longer manage at home, is often difficult and upsetting. It is a very personal choice and requires a lot of preparation and consideration. Discuss the options with your family and loved ones, as well
as your doctor, to decide if the time is right.
Our dedicated staff is responsible for medication management to ensure residents receive their prescribed medications safely and on time. We have robust systems in place to track and administer medications
according to individual needs, in accordance with best practices and regulatory guidelines.
